▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Device for manufacturing of a two-dimensional material, comprises two opposing surfaces adapted to moving relative to each other, where: the two surfaces are arranged so that there is a space between the two surfaces; at least one of the two surfaces comprise grooves and bars of a first type, on the surface(s) facing the space; at least a part of the surface of the bars of the first type facing the space is provided with an abrasive surface; 25-75 of the area of the abrasive surface consists of protrusions where the protrusions have a height in the interval 10-30 pm; the height of the protrusions is measured as the height along a surface normal; the abrasive surface has at least 600 protrusions per cm2; at least half of the grooves comprise at least one bar of a second type and each bar of the second type extends across the groove. USE - The device is useful for manufacturing of two-dimensional material i.e. graphene or graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device: provides larger pieces of graphene; provides a high shear force to exfoliate the two-dimensional material while only a low pressure is applied to the material, which gives a more energy efficient method compared to the prior art. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) manufacturing the two-dimensional material comprising mixing a starting material with a liquid to form a suspension; and (2) a two-dimensional material manufactured by the method. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The figure shows a schematic view of the two surfaces with a space in-between.
