NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide modified pig manure biological carbon comprises adjusting graphene oxide suspension pH value to 5-8 and ultrasonic treating to obtain dispersed single-layered graphene oxide suspension; dropwise adding sodium polyacrylate solution into single-layered graphene oxide suspension to obtain graphene oxide-polyacrylate suspension; mixing pig manure powder with graphene oxide-polyacrylate suspension, stirring for 1-3 hours, standing for 3-4 hours, filtering and collecting precipitate to obtain graphene oxide-modified bio-carbon composite material, where mass-volume ratio of pig manure powder and suspension is 18-22 g:1-1.12 L; washing composite material with water and freeze-drying to obtain primary graphene oxide-modified bio-carbon composite material; removing impurities of primary composite material primary under nitrogen environment, pyrolyzing at 100-400 degrees C for 1-4 hours at 8-15 degrees C/minutes, cooling pyrolysis product, crushing and sieving to obtain product. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide modified pig manure biological carbon used for removing cadmium in sewage (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide adhered to surface of biochar through sodium polyacrylate forms uneven protrusions, which increased adsorption active sites and improves adsorption efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for removal of cadmium in sewage comprising adding 0.4-6 g graphene oxide-modified pig manure biochar per liter of wastewater.
