NOVELTY - Modified asphalt comprises 75-88 pts. wt. base asphalt, 3-5 pts. wt. styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) modifier, 0.75-2 pts. wt. graphene polymer, 0.01-0.08 pt. wt. molybdenum disulfide, 0.5-1 pt. wt. anti-aging agent and 0.5-1 pt. wt. anti-UV agent. USE - As modified asphalt. ADVANTAGE - The modified asphalt has high elasticity and high weather resistance, improves the elastic modulus, high temperature stability, compatibility, mechanical properties and elasticity of asphalt, and effectively reduces the cracking and volatilization of light components in the asphalt and enhances the fatigue life of asphalt. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the modified asphalt comprising weighing the raw materials, drying the base asphalt at 130-140degrees Celsius for 2-3 hours, adding anti-aging agent, shearing for 5-8 minutes, and stirring for 20-30 minutes, adding SBS modifier and graphene polymer in sequence, setting the temperature at 158-165degrees Celsius, shearing for 45-60 minutes, and stirring for 30-45 minutes, adding molybdenum disulfide or molybdenum disulfide polymer, adding anti-UV agent, cutting for 20-30 minutes, and stirring for 20-30 minutes, leaving and swelling for 2-2.5 hours to obtain the product.
