ADVANTAGE - The scavenger has excellent absorption rate, is safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly, and can be prepared in a simple manner with wide range of application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a formaldehyde absorbing scavenger, which involves uniformly mixing bamboo carbon powder, dried orange peel, nano silicon micro powder and active carbon, stirring the mixture, adding nano titanium dioxide, sodium citrate, nano zinc oxide and cellulose ether to the obtained mixture, and uniformly stirring to obtain the formaldehyde absorbing scavenger.
