NOVELTY - A germanium dioxide/graphene composite material comprises graphene nanoplates wrapped with germanium dioxide submicron particles. The diameter of the germanium dioxide submicron particles is 400-900 nm. USE - Germanium dioxide/graphene composite material for use as anode material of lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The germanium dioxide/graphene composite material has high charge-discharge specific capacity, high purity, excellent cycle stability and fast charge and discharge performance. The germanium dioxide/graphene composite material is prepared by a simple method, without generating pollution and by-products, with low reaction temperature.
