NOVELTY - Method of fabricating broadband optical limiter, involves (a) preparing starting graphene suspension comprising several graphene nano-sheets suspended in water, (b) preparing solution of reagent dissolved in buffer, and (c) mixing the starting graphene suspension with the reagent solution to form mixture with stabilized graphene suspension. USE - The method is useful for fabricating nano-graphene based broadband optical limiter useful for protecting human eye and optical sensors from powerful lasers. ADVANTAGE - The method is economical and superior to carbon fullerene solution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) broadband optical limiter with an optical limiting response, comprising (a) several graphene nano-sheets, and (b) base material in which several graphene nano-sheets are distributed; and (2) article prepared by the above-mentioned method.
