NOVELTY - Magnesium-based composite material comprises a magnesium alloy matrix and a reinforcing body, where reinforcing body is distributed in magnesium alloy matrix, which includes 4-7 wt.% zinc, 0.05-0.8 wt.% calcium, 0-4 wt.% aluminum, 0-1 wt.% zirconium, 0-0.8 wt.% cerium, 0-0.8 wt.% lanthanum, 0-0.8 wt.% yttrium, 0-0.8 wt.% neodymium, 0-0.8 wt.% silicon, 0-1.5 wt.% manganese, 0-0.5 wt.% strontium, 0-1 wt.% tin, 0-0.5 wt.% scandium, 0-0.8 wt.% gadolinium, and magnesium and unavoidable impurity element (remaining amount). USE - The magnesium-based composite material is useful in structural member of shell of electronic device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent comprehensive performance of high thermal conductivity, high toughness and high modulus, and realizes low cost preparation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a preparation method of magnesium-based composite material.
