NOVELTY - Solid electrolyte material comprises lithium, T1, X1 and A1, where T1 comprises at least one element comprising antimony, phosphorus, arsenic, silicon, germanium, aluminum, boron, and tungsten, X1 comprises at least one halogen, pseudo-halogens, or nitrogen, A1 comprises at least one of sulfur and selenium, and the solid electrolyte material has peaks at 2theta=14.5plus minus0.5degrees, 16.8plus minus0.5degrees, 23.9plus minus0.5degrees, 28.1plus minus0.5degrees, and 32.5plus minus0.5degrees in X-ray diffraction measurement with copper-Kalpha(1,2) is equal to 1.54064Angstrom. USE - The material is useful in: a lithium solid-state battery (claimed); and phones and laptops to scooters and cars. ADVANTAGE - The material provides high conductivity, improved air stability, and low temperature processing requirements. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a lithium solid-state battery (100) comprising a positive electrode active material layer (120) containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode active material layer (140) containing a negative electrode active material, and a solid electrolyte layer (130) disposed between the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode active material layer, where at least one of the positive electrode active material layer, the negative electrode active material layer, and the solid electrolyte layer; and (2) producing the sulfide solid electrolyte material including glass ceramics comprising Li, T1, X1 and A1, comprising mixing and milling a raw material composition containing an element A or compound lithium A (Li2)A, an element T or sulfide of T, and a compound LiX1 or Li3N to render the mixture amorphous under x-ray diffraction, and/or heating the sulfide glass at a heat treatment temperature equal to or greater than a crystallization temperature of the sulfide glass to synthesize the glass ceramics.
