NOVELTY - The production of nanocomposite material involves placing graphite nano-sheets powder, styrene and dispersing aid in reactor, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene nanosheets dispersion liquid, transferring to the reactor, adding azobisisobutyronitrile, stirring, reacting, cooling to 50 degrees C, adding dibenzoyl peroxide, stirring for 1.0-1.5 hours, obtaining reaction solution, injecting reaction liquid into glass reactor, leaving the mixture still until bubbles are not existed in the reaction solution, and placing in water bath at 40-50 degrees C until the reaction liquid is hardened. USE - Production of polystyrene/graphene nanocomposite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures uniform and stable dispersion of the graphene nanoplates in polystyrene matrix, and improves the glass transition temperature and electrical conductivity of the polystyrene/graphene nanocomposite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The production method of polystyrene/graphene nanocomposite material involves placing graphite nano-sheets powder and dispersing aid in a reactor, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene nanosheets dispersion liquid, transferring the graphene nanosheets dispersion liquid to the reactor equipped with a condenser tube, a stirrer and a nitrogen inlet, adding azobisisobutyronitrile, increasing the temperature to 70-90 degrees C, stirring, reacting for 0.8-1.2 hours, cooling to 50 degrees C, adding dibenzoyl peroxide, stirring for 1.0-1.5 hours, obtaining reaction solution, injecting the reaction liquid into glass reactor, leaving the mixture still until bubbles are not existed in the reaction solution, placing in water bath at 40-50 degrees C until the reaction liquid is hardened, and obtaining polystyrene/graphene nanocomposite material. The dispersing aid is dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, vinyltrimethoxysilane coupling agent or monoalkoxy titanate coupling agent.
