NOVELTY - High flame-retardant low-smoke halogen-free cable material comprises 55-75 pts. wt. ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, 10-20 pts. wt. elastomer, 10-25 pts. wt. metallocene linear low density polyethylene, 5-10 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 3-8 pts. wt. lubricant, 0.5-2 pts. wt. antioxidant, 60-100 pts. wt. inorganic filler, 1-5 pts. wt. graphene and 3 pts. wt. carbon black masterbatch, where e.g. inorganic filler is magnesium hydroxide or aluminum hydroxide, calcium carbonate and/or magnesium carbonate. USE - Used as high flame-retardant low-smoke halogen-free cable material. ADVANTAGE - The high flame-retardant low-smoke halogen-free cable material achieve flame retardant grade of UL94 V-0, which is soft in texture, excellent in mechanical performance and long service life, and is suitable for cable processing and laying. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of high flame-retardant low-smoke halogen-free cable material comprising adding ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, elastomer and metallocene linear low density polyethylene, compatibilizer, lubricant, antioxidant, carbon black masterbatch, inorganic filler and graphene into pinch mixer, kneading, and then extruding and granulating by two-stage unit, where pinch mixer discharge temperature is 155-165oC, kneading time is 15-16 minutes, punching process in the top bolt every 2-3 minutes to ensure that the material mix, and two-stage unit in twin-screw and single-screw temperature range is 105-135 degrees C.
