NOVELTY - Preparing bimodal structure graphene oxide/magnesium-based composite material comprises adding graphene oxide to pre-milled magnesium alloy powder, and ball milling to obtain mixed powder, hot pressing the mixed powder into a vacuum environment to obtain a prefabricated blank, and partially re-melting treatment on the prefabricated blank, adding pre-heated mold for thixotropic forming. USE - The method is useful for preparing bimodal structure graphene oxide/magnesium-based composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method does not need secondary plastic processing to obtain the tissue compact isotropic bimodal magnesium-based composite material, which can be used for forming large size, and complexes shape of thin-wall near net-shaped component. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for bimodal structure graphene oxide/magnesium- based composite material, prepared as mentioned in the above-method.
