NOVELTY - Preparing graphene comprises: (1) precipitating and preparing carbon-containing metal or alloy, where carbon content in the metal or alloy is less than 10%; (2) heating and melting or partial melting the carbon-containing metal or alloy; and (3) cooling the melt at a cooling rate of 0.1-109 degrees C/second to obtain graphene, and separating out the solid on an outer surface of the graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of simply and economically preparing the graphene with high quality.
