NOVELTY - Preparing graphene bipolar plates comprises spraying reinforced paint on surface of graphene substrate, where the preparation of graphene substrate comprises (i) adding phenol and acetone into reaction kettle, stirring and passing in hydrogen chloride gas, reacting, raising temperature to continue reaction to obtain intermediate I, adding intermediate I, potassium carbonate, dimethyl sulfate, and tetrahydrofuran to reaction kettle, and reacting with reflux to obtain intermediate II, and (ii) adding intermediate II, nitrogen-bromosuccinimide, benzoyl peroxide, and carbon tetrachloride to reaction kettle, and reacting to obtain intermediate III, adding intermediate III, potassium carbonate, deionized water, and tetraethylammonium bromide to reaction kettle, and refluxing reaction to obtain intermediate IV, adding intermediate IV, acrylic acid, chloroform, and concentrated sulfuric acid into reaction kettle, and reacting with reflux to obtain Intermediate V. USE - The method is useful in preparing graphene bipolar plates for fuel cells (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The plate has high-performance, good toughness, and good conductivity.
