NOVELTY - A thermoelectric energy harvesting clothing comprises a flame retardant outer fabric, a moisture barrier, thermoelectric energy harvesting system, and a lining for heat blocking. USE - Thermoelectric energy harvesting clothing e.g. fire fighting suit, flame retardant clothing or fire protection suit (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The thermal energy density is made high and the power generation performance is made excellent. The total amount of heat transferred to the person wearing the clothing is reduced and the weight of the high-weight heat-blocking felt used as the lining is reduced. The energy generated by the thermoelectric energy harvesting system is continuously supplied to the battery to provide a lot of power required for wearable firefighting equipment.
