NOVELTY - Device comprises a chamber (10) loaded with catalytic metal, having a gas inlet (12) and outlet (13), and a thermal expansion compensating unit (40) to compensate the difference of thermal expansion of graphene and catalytic metal, located on one side of a heating zone (11) of the chamber. USE - The device is useful for producing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device prevents formation of folds on graphene, and improves electrical properties of graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) producing graphene, comprising loading catalytic metal into the chamber, supplying carbon source into the chamber, forming graphene on the catalytic metal, cooling the catalytic metal, and compensating the thermal expansion between the catalytic metal and graphene; and (2) graphene produced by the above method.
