NOVELTY - Preparation of manganese oxide/graphene nanocomposites comprises dispersing graphite oxide in water, adding sulfuric acid, ultrasonically mixing, reacting at 160-260 degrees C for 18-30 hours, and washing; dissolving manganese salt in water, adding reduced graphene, soaking at 3-60 degrees C for 1 day or more, preferably 10-30 degrees C for 1-2 days, hydrothermal reacting at 120-220 degrees C for 18-30 hours, preferably 180-200 degrees C for 20-24 hours, washing, and drying; and calcining at 250-600 degrees C for 1-5 hours, preferably 300-500 degrees C for 1-3 hours and naturally cooling to room temperature. USE - Method for preparing manganese oxide/graphene nanocomposites used for preparing lithium ion battery cathode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite large specific surface area, solves agglomeration problem and poor self-stability and conductivity, improves battery performance, and has good circulation stability and high specific energy density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a lithium ion cathode comprising manganese oxide/graphene nano-composite material.
