USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-activated carbon multilayer porous material. ADVANTAGE - The carbon material: has rich pore structure, high specific surface area, high adsorption capacity, and is easy to recycle and reuse. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene-activated carbon multilayer porous material comprises (i) pulverizing the activated carbon material to particle diameter of less than 5 mu m, (ii) adding the ball-milled activated carbon into potassium hydroxide solution having concentration of 10-40%, soaking for 1-24 hours, filtering and drying, (iii) adding dried activated carbon into aqueous solution of graphene oxide at concentration of 1-5 mg/ml, and mixing uniformly, and then spray-drying to obtain activated carbon material coated with graphene oxide, (iv) adding sodium alginate into deionized water and stirring until completely dissolved, adding step (iii) product, stirring well to obtain mixed system, (v) adding dropwise step (iv) mixed system into calcium chloride solution to obtain spherical gelatinous product, allowing to stand, washing the spherical gelatinous product with deionized water and then freeze-drying, (vi) adding the dried material into tube furnace under nitrogen protection at high temperature of 500-800 degrees C for 0.5-4 hours, and (vii) washing product after the high temperature treatment with deionized water, and then drying to obtain final product.
