NOVELTY - Preparation of strong fluorescence graphene quantum dots involves using solvent thermal method to expand graphite using hydrogen peroxide solution as oxidant in the presence of an organic solvent at 150-200 degrees C for 3-5 hours. USE - Preparation of strong fluorescence graphene quantum dots (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces graphene quantum dots having high fluorescence intensity, monodispersibility, uniform size, good water solubility, and relatively strong fluorescence even under acidic or basic conditions.
