NOVELTY - Microfoam composite material comprises 90-130 pts. wt. polypropylene, 35-60 pts. wt. cross-linked modified basalt fiber, 15-30 pts. wt. nano silicon dioxide, 4-7 pts. wt. maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, 4-6 pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 2-6 pts. wt. zinc stearate, 2-5 pts. wt. flame retardant, 1-3 pts. wt. antioxidant, and 1-2 pts. wt. coupling agent. USE - The micro-foaming composite material is useful in automobile, building and packaging. ADVANTAGE - The micro-foaming composite material has good comprehensive properties, excellent mechanical properties, hardness and flame-retardant properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: Preparing microfoam composite material, comprising (i) air-drying the raw material to obtain dried raw material, (ii) extruding polypropylene, nano-silica, and maleic anhydride-grafted polypropylene with twin-screw extrusion granulator to obtain polypropylene mixed masterbatches, then adding the modified basalt fiber, coupling agent, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and polypropylene mixed masterbatch into an internal mixer for melt blending to obtain composite masterbatch, and (iii) mixing composite masterbatch, zinc stearate, antioxidant, and flame retardant, placing in supercritical foaming extruder, and using nitrogen as foaming gas to obtain micro-foamed composite material; and Cross-linked modified basalt fiber
