NOVELTY - Composite material comprises 15.1-41 pts. wt. graphene oxide coated carbon fiber and 60-85 pts. wt. polyphenyl thioether. USE - Used as composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has high mechanical property, the tensile strength and Young's modulus compared to the un-modified-polyphenyl thioether is improved for 116 % and 193 %, compared with polyphenylene sulfide modified by carbon fiber are improved for 13% and 17%. The method is simple. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing composite material comprising dispersing oxidized graphene uniformly in the water to obtain the graphene oxide solution, uniformly dispersing the carbon fiber obtained in the graphene oxide solution and drying to obtain the graphene oxide coated carbon fiber, melt binding the graphene oxide coated carbon fiber and polyphenyl ether to obtain the composite material.
