▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Manufacturing pristine graphene from kish graphite, comprises: (A) provision of kish graphite; (B) optionally, a pre-treatment of kish graphite; and (C) synthesis step of pristine graphene from the kish-graphite comprising (i) intercalation of kish graphite with a nitrate salt and an acid to obtain intercalated kish graphite, (ii) thermal expansion of the intercalated kish graphite to obtain expanded kish graphite at a temperature of above 600 degrees C; (iii) exfoliation by ultra-sonication to obtain exfoliated kish graphite, and (iv) separation of the unexfoliated kish graphite and the obtained pristine graphene. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing pristine graphene from kish graphite. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for pristine graphene obtainable from the method being one single layer of carbon atoms bonded together in a honeycomb lattice comprising less than 5% of oxygens groups, less than 5% of nitrogen groups and less than 0.5% of hydrogen atoms.
