NOVELTY - Preparing redox graphene comprises mixing graphite and concentrated sulfuric acid, placed in ice bath, stirring for 30 minutes, mixing completely, adding potassium permanganate, stirring continuously, adding 5% hydrogen peroxide solution, filtering, washing and drying at 60 degrees C to obtain graphite oxide, adding sodium hydroxide solution into graphite oxide, ultrasonic processing to prepare graphene oxide dispersion, centrifuging, adding hydrazine hydrate, and reacting for 2 hours at 90 degrees C to obtain graphene dispersion. USE - The method is useful for preparing redox graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene has reduction effect, reduced surface potential and reduced dispersibility in solvent, and generates non-reversible agglomerate. The method is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing redox graphene comprises (i) taking natural crystalline flake graphite (74 mu m), potassium permanganate, concentrated sulfuric acid, hydration hydrazine (50%), 5% hydrogen peroxide solution, 0.05 mol/l hydrochloric acid solution and 0.1 mol/l sodium hydroxide solution for adjusting pH of system, (ii) taking 1 g graphite and 230 ml of 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, mixing, placed in an ice bath, stirring for 30 minutes, mixing completely, adding 40g potassium permanganate, stirring continuously for 1 hour, placing in a warm water bath at 40 degrees C, stirring continuously for 30 minutes, diluting the reaction liquid with 800-1000 ml distilled water, adding 5% hydrogen peroxide solution, filtering when is hot, washing to neutral using 5% hydrochloric acid and distilled water, filtering, washing and drying at 60 degrees C to obtain graphite oxide, and (iii) taking 0.05 g graphite oxide, adding 100 ml sodium hydroxide solution of pH 11, ultrasonic processing under power of 150 W for 90 minutes to prepare graphene oxide dispersion, centrifuging for 3 minutes to remove very small amount of unstripped graphite oxide, adding 0.1 ml hydrazine hydrate, and reacting for 2 hours at 90 degrees C to obtain graphene dispersion
