NOVELTY - Preparation of magnesium-based composite hydrogen storage material involves mixing and stirring magnesium metal powder, sheet carbon material powder, fiber-shaped carbon material powder according to preset proportion in preset solvent to form suspension, using wet papermaking method to prepare the suspension into blank of multi-hole paper-shaped composite material with the thickness of 0.05-3 mm, soaking the prepared blank in solution containing organic compound of preset transition metal, so that the preset transition metal is adsorbed into the blank, drying the blank under the condition of 250-500℃ at the hydrogen pressure of 0.5-5 MPa, using catalytic action of the preset transition metal, and hydrogenating the dried blank in hydrogen furnace. USE - Preparation of magnesium-based composite hydrogen storage material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has a fixed shape, and the macroscopic presentation is porous characteristic magnesium hydride powder can be fully dispersed with the carbon material powder, magnesium hydride powder particles are not pressed and adhered to each other, so that the hydrogen storage material has high heat-conducting performance, and all these are excellent for hydrogenation reaction of the material and hydrogen releasing reaction. It can realize high hydrogenation and hydrogen discharging efficiency, and is excellent for the design of the hydrogen storage reactor.
