NOVELTY - A platinum (Pt)/graphene catalyst is prepared by ultrasonically dispersing graphite oxide in deionized water to form graphite oxide dispersion, adding 0.05-1 wt.% chloroplatinic acid for Pt loading amount to be 5-50 wt.%, adjusting pH to 9-13 using 0.5-4 M potassium hydroxide aqueous solution, adding sodium borohydride at volume ratio sodium borohydride:graphite oxide dispersion of 1:1-1:5, and deionized water at volume ratio deionized water:graphite oxide dispersion of 1:1-5:1, reducing for 1-18 hours, suction-filtering, washing with deionized water, and drying at 60-100 degrees C for 6-24 hours. USE - Preparation of platinum/graphene catalyst for lithium-air battery. ADVANTAGE - Large surface area of graphene allows platinum particles to be supported easily, improving and maintaining excellent catalytic activity of the catalyst.
