NOVELTY - Preparation of single layer graphene involves preparing alkali metal and graphite precursor mixture, transferring precursor mixture to high pressure reactor, drying in blast drying oven, performing solvothermal reaction to react precursor mixture under high temperature and high pressure, cooling, adding 15-30 mL n-hexane to reactor and centrifuging to obtain alkali metal-embedded single layer graphene, adding 20-40 mL deionized water to the alkali metal-embedded single layer graphene, reacting and separating. USE - Preparation of single layer graphene for lithium battery electrode cathode materials. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and economical. The prepared graphene has high specific surface area and excellent electrical conductivity, structural stability and electrochemical cycle performance.
