▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Converting carbon nanotubes into graphene sheets comprises: providing hydrogen plasma at 32-200 degrees F; and etching latent defects in carbon nanotubes with the provided plasma, and thus splitting the carbon nanotubes in a longitudinal direction resulting in graphene sheets. USE - The method is useful for converting carbon nanotubes into graphene sheets (claimed) which are useful in UV, terahertz and infrared radiation detecting and sensing systems. ADVANTAGE - The method provides the graphene ribbons that: exhibit non measurable noise sources, and thus the infrared radiation detector no longer suffers from the Nyquist frequency limitation; have a high porosity.
