NOVELTY - Preparing graphene modified alginate fiber comprises (i) mixing first part of graphene material with sodium alginate to obtain a first mixture, (ii) dispersing second part of graphene material in water to obtain a second mixture, (iii) mixing first mixture and second mixture at 40-60 degrees C to obtain a third mixture, where amount of sodium alginate is 2-10 wt.%, (iv) adding third portion of graphene material to a third mixture and mixing to obtain spinning solution, and (v) weight ratio between graphene material used in step A, step B and step D is 1-4:1-4:1, preferably 2-4:2-4:1. USE - The fiber is useful for manufacture of sanitary equipment (gauze and band-aid), clothing, carpet or cloth (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The fiber has antibacterial property, far-infrared function and excellent mechanical property.
