NOVELTY - Polyethylene composite material comprises 50-100 pts. wt. ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, 5-100 pts. wt. composite flame retardant 0.01-3 pts. wt. coupling agent, 0.1-2 pts. wt. smoke inhibitor, 0.1-1 pts. wt. lubricant, and composite flame retardant comprises as specified. USE - Used as polyethylene composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material: has low smoke and low toxicity, no halogen, good flame retardant effect, can reach UL94V-0 level, oxygen index can reach 32%, smoke density can reach 234.7 under 25 kw smokeless condition, and excellent mechanical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the polyethylene composite material, comprising (i) respectively reacting graphene, inorganic metal compound and synergistic flame retardant with the coupling agent to obtain the coupling product with more active reactive groups; (ii) dispersing coupling product obtained in the step (i) in the solvent, stirring and reacting, the chemical bond between coupling product cross-linked to form three-dimensional network structure, obtaining composite flame retardant with reaction activity; (iii) adding silane coupling agent, smoke inhibitor, lubricant and the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene into high speed mixer to mix uniformly; (iv) adding the composite flame retardant the step (ii) to high-speed mixer in the step (iii) and uniformly mixing to obtain the mixture; (v) adding the mixture obtained in the step (iv) into the low-smoke low-toxicity halogen-free flame-retarded ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene composite material by hot-pressing molding method.
