NOVELTY - Gasoline selective hydrodesulfurization and olefin reduction catalyst comprises a carrier and an active metal component. The carrier is an alumina-based carrier the surface of which is coated with graphene oxide. USE - Gasoline selective hydrodesulfurization and olefin reduction catalyst used for producing clean gasoline (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst is used in hydrogenation process for producing clean gasoline, and has higher hydrodesulfurization selectivity and less octane number loss. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for follwoing: (1) a method for preparing catalyst, which involves: mixing graphene oxide and an alumina-based carrier, performing first microwave treatment, adding an alkaline solution for second microwave treatment, filtering, and drying to obtain the alumina-based carrier with the surface coated with the graphene oxide. The active metal component is loaded on the carrier and dried. (2) A method for producing clean gasoline, which involves contacting gasoline raw material with the catalyst in the presence of hydrogen to react.
