NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene modified porous oil-absorbing ceramics comprises ultrasonic dispersing 1-10 pts. wt. oxidized graphene in 190-199 pts. wt. water for 2-3 hours to obtain aqueous graphite oxide solution; immersing 1 pts. wt. porous diatomite ceramic in 8-10 pts. wt. aqueous graphite oxide solution under vacuum for 24-72 hours; vacuum drying at 60-80 degrees C for 24-48 hours; reducing in reducing agent for 24-36 hours; and drying at 80-90 degrees C for 36-48 hours to obtain graphene modified porous oil-absorbing ceramic. USE - Preparation of graphene modified porous oil-absorbing ceramics (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has low production cost and low energy consumption. It produces graphene modified porous oil-absorbing ceramics with high porosity, high strength, good oil retention and oil-water selectivity, has excellent adsorption oil product performance, and can be repeatedly used.
