NOVELTY - Preparing polyperylene tetracarboximide compirses uniformly mixing 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboximide and ferric chloride in ball mill, ball milling with ball mill at 500-1000 revolutions/minute for 20-30 minutes, washing the obtained product with methanol, drying, obtaining poly-3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboximide, mass ratio of 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboximide to ferric chloride is 1:2-3. USE - The polyperylene tetracarboximide is useful in lithium/sodium battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is environmentally friendly; and has short time and high yield. The polyperylene tetracarboximide: can exhibits better thermal stability, more excellent cycle stability and rate performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: polyperylene tetracarboximide, is prepared by above mentioned method. Use of the polyperylene tetracarboximide in lithium/sodium battery, compirsing uniformly mixing the polyperylene tetracarboximide, conductive agent and binder in NMP, coating on the current collector, drying, cutting to get the anode, the mass ratio of polyperylene tetraimide, conductive agent and binder is (60-75): (15-30): 10, the conductive agent is Super-P, conductive carbon, acetylene black, Ketjen black, conductive graphite, carbon brazing fiber, carbon nanotubes and/or graphene; the binder is PVDF and/or PTFE, and the current collector is stainless steel, aluminum foil, copper foil, aluminum mesh or copper mesh; the loadings of polyperylene tetraimide on the current collector ranged from 0.7-1.2 mg cm-2.
