NOVELTY - Sealant comprises 15-20 pts. wt. chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, 35-40 pts. wt. mixed solvent, 42-48 pts. wt. pigments and fillers, 1-2 pts. wt. nano graphite, 0.1-2 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 0.1-0.3 pt. wt. coupling agent, 3-5 pts. wt. flame retardant and 0.5-0.7 pt. wt. antioxidant. USE - As sealant. ADVANTAGE - The sealant has excellent ozone resistance, weathering resistance, oil resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, flame resistance, abrasion resistance and low temperature resistance, sealing and anti-leakage effects, has significant effect on the sealing of pipe threads and planes of various electromechanical products, and high solid content, is environmentally friendly, optimizes powder material, uses the powder materials of different particle sizes for matching, which conforms the labyrinth seal effect and greatly increases the sealing performance and improves the service life of the sealant and testability of construction. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the sealant involving (i) preparing graphene oxide using Hummers method to prepare graphite oxide with natural flake graphite as raw material by mixing concentrated sulfuric acid after ice bath cooling with sodium nitrate, natural flake graphite and potassium permanganate, reacting, terminating the reaction with deionized water, adding hydrogen peroxide to remove excess potassium permanganate, washing, separating and drying to obtain graphite oxide and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene oxide dispersion and (ii) preparing chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber sealant by (a) masticating the chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber and chopping, (b) placing the plasticized chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, mixed solvents, pigments and fillers, nano graphite, graphene oxide, coupling agents, flame retardants and antioxidants in a reaction kettle and (c) uniformly dissolving, dispersing and discharging the chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber sealant to obtain the product.
