NOVELTY - Preparation of antistatic fabric involves (a) obtaining a graphene oxide dispersion, (b) obtaining a fabric, (c) contacting the fabric with the dispersion, (d) drying the fabric obtained in the step (c), to obtain a graphene oxide-coated fabric, (e) reducing the graphene oxide-coated fabric with an ascorbic acid solution, washing and drying. USE - Preparation of antistatic fabric (claimed) used for textile products for protecting from heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, UV radiation, abrasion, dust, micro-organisms, radiological dust, static electricity, and military surveillance. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of antistatic fabric having excellent air permeability, drape, shade of fabric, and surface resistivity.
