NOVELTY - Preparation of wear-resistant nano-boehmite-graphene oxide composite lubricant involves mixing nano-boehmite and absolute ethanol, ultrasonically dispersing, adding absolute ethanol comprising KH-560 (RTM: gamma -Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane) as silane coupling agent, reacting under nitrogen protection, filtering, drying filter cake and grinding to obtain silane coupling agent-modified nano-boehmite, adding silane coupling agent-modified nano-boehmite to deionized water, carrying out hydrolysis reaction, adding graphene oxide, reacting and washing with deionized water. USE - The method is useful for preparing wear-resistant nano-boehmite-graphene oxide composite lubricant (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of nano-boehmite-graphene oxide composite lubricant with excellent wear resistance and lubricity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of wear-resistant nano-boehmite-graphene oxide composite lubricant involves (a) mixing 0.8 g graphite and 20-25 ml 95% concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring at 600 rpm for 30 minutes, adding 1-1.5 g sodium nitrate, reacting for 30-40 minutes, adding 5-6 g potassium permanganate, reacting for 2 hours, transferring mixture to 39 degrees C oil bath, reacting for 2.5 hours, adding 40-50 ml deionized water, reacting at 95 degrees C for 1.5 hours, dripping 120-130 ml 10% hydrogen peroxide, stirring at 1000 rpm until color of reaction system is darken, adding 100 ml 0.5 mole/l hydrochloric acid, stirring at 1000 rpm for 10-20 minutes, carrying out suction filtration, washing filtrate until there is no sulfate ion, dissolving filter cake in 500 ml distilled water, ultrasonically dispersing for 1-2 hours, concentrating by rotary evaporation to obtain black powder and drying in vacuum oven at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain graphene oxide, (b) mixing 1 g nano-boehmite and 100 ml absolute ethanol, ultrasonically dispersing for 30 minutes, adding 20 ml absolute ethanol comprising 2 g KH-560 (RTM: gamma -Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane) as silane coupling agent, reacting under nitrogen protection at 30 degrees C for 10 hours, filtering, drying filter cake in vacuum oven at 60 degrees C for 12 hours and grinding to obtain silane coupling agent-modified nano-boehmite, and (c) adding 0.5 g silane coupling agent-modified nano-boehmite to 100 ml deionized water, carrying out hydrolysis reaction at 30 degrees C for 2 hours, adding 0.1-0.2 g graphene oxide, reacting at 85 degrees C for 10-12 hours, placing mixture at room temperature until the mixture is layered, removing precipitate, washing with deionized water till pH is 7, 4 times washing with each time 50 ml acetone, centrifuging and drying solid substance.
