NOVELTY - Preparation of high-thermal-conductivity flame-retardant epoxy composite material involves reducing graphene oxide and simultaneously modifying filler, using dopamine, suction-filtering and drying to obtain a composite film precursor, cutting the composite film precursor into a film of preset size, and bonding the cut film with an epoxy resin. USE - Preparation of high-thermal-conductivity flame-retardant epoxy composite material for heat dissipating materials, flame-retardant composite materials, electronic packaging, and electronic device heat dissipation applications (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides a heat conduction path of composite material by constructing a heat conduction surface structure of the graphene in a vertical direction, and uses polydopamine on the surface of graphene, to reduce the interfacial compatibility between graphene and epoxy resin, and provides composite material with excellent thermal conductivity in vertical direction and flame retardant grade reaching V-0 level. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for epoxy composite material, which has a thickness of 2-5 mm, a length of 10-20 mm, and a width of 10-15 mm.
