NOVELTY - Graphene/glass fiber reinforced nylon composites comprises 60-90 pts. wt. nylon, 5-20 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 0.01-5 pts. wt. graphene, 1-6 pts. wt. glass fiber, 0.01-0.1 pts. wt. silane coupling agent, 1-2 pts. wt. anhydrous ethanol, 0.05-2 pts. wt. antioxidant, and 0.5-3 pts. wt. lubricant. USE - Used as graphene/glass fiber reinforced nylon composite. ADVANTAGE - The material has simple preparation process, thermal stability, strength and toughness and eliminates floating fiber phenomenon. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene/glass fiber reinforced nylon composites comprising (i) mixing dry nylon, antioxidant and lubricant, (ii) adding graphene into epoxy resin, ultrasonic dispersing, stirring at low-speed at room temperature for 0.5-3 hours to obtain graphene dispersion liquid, (iii) dissolving silane coupling agent in anhydrous ethanol to obtain silane coupling agent-ethanol solution, spraying the silane coupling agent-ethanol solution on glass fiber, and then placing in an oven and drying at 90-110 degrees C for 50-80 minutes, (iv) adding the mixture in the step (i) into a twin screw extruder through a upstream feeding port, then transferring the graphene dispersion in the step (ii) into a twin-screw extruder through a downstream feeding port, adding glass fiber in the step (iii) into a twin-screw extruder through an air outlet, and controlling variable pump speed, and (v) taking twin-screw extruder is provided with an evacuation and temperature control device, controlling the extruder temperature to 200-270 degrees C, rotation speed of the screw to 100-1000 revolution/minute, melt extruding the components, cooling and granulating to obtain product.
