NOVELTY - The preparation of magnetic mechanical seal friction pair, involves (1) mixing 100 parts mass silicon carbide micropowder, 20-35 parts mass nano-carbon powder and 40 parts mass binder to obtain mixture, mixing 100 parts mass deionized water, 40 parts mass dehydrated ethanol and 20 parts mass coupling agent, and ball milling for 8-12 hours to obtain mixed slurry, (2) taking 10-15 parts mass ferrosoferric oxide microspheres, dispersing with 20 parts mass coupling agent and 100 parts mass anhydrous ethanol, adding to above mixed slurry and ball milling for 12 hours to prepare slurry, (3) drying and pulverizing slurry, mixing with 25-40 parts mass silicon particles and 5 parts mass modified boron nitride particles to obtain mixed powder, and press-molding to obtain blank, (4) heating blank at 2000-2100degrees Celsius and pressurizing at 15-25 MPa under protective gas atmosphere to complete sintering to obtain semi-finished product, and (5) polishing semi-finished product. USE - Preparation of magnetic mechanical seal friction pair used in mechanical sealing components such as spring loading end face sealing device, in friction-resistant material applications. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing magnetic mechanical seal friction pair ensuring increased toughness and fracture resistance, and the product has enhanced magnetic properties.
