NOVELTY - Melamine sponge structure comprises a graphene oxide coating layer. USE - The melamine sponge structure is useful in nano devices and energy storage devices including electrode, sensor, super capacitor and catalyst support. ADVANTAGE - The melamine sponge structure has excellent mechanical and electrical properties, wide surface, absorption of oil and organic solvent area and super-hydrophobicity; and is light weight. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing melamine sponge structure, comprising (a) preparing graphene oxide solution, (b) coating the obtained graphene oxide on a sponge structure made of melamine polymer, and (c) carbonizing the coated graphene oxide.
