NOVELTY - Preparation of sulfonated graphene flame-retardant polymeric material includes dissolving a small amount of graphene oxide in water, ultrasonically dispersing to form uniform dispersion, adding sodium p-styrenesulfonate, stirring uniformly, heating, slowly dropping initiator, continuously stirring to react, obtaining sulfonated modified graphene oxide, washing with anhydrous ethanol and deionized water, vacuum drying, storing, adding modified graphene oxide, silicon dioxide, calcium carbonate fiber, glass fiber and flame retardant into a reaction kettle and adding deionized water. USE - Preparation of sulfonated graphene flame-retardant polymeric material. ADVANTAGE - The method provides sulfonated graphene flame-retardant polymeric material, which has good flame retardant property, high strength and pressure resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of sulfonated graphene flame-retardant polymeric material comprises dissolving a small amount of graphene oxide in 100 ml water, ultrasonically dispersing for 30-60 minutes to form uniform dispersion, adding 1 g sodium p-styrenesulfonate, stirring uniformly, heating at 65 degrees C, slowly dropping initiator, continuously stirring to react for 24 hours, obtaining paste product i.e. sulfonated modified graphene oxide, washing with anhydrous ethanol and deionized water for 3 times, putting in 65 degrees C vacuum drying oven, vacuum drying for 48 hours, storing, adding 5-9 pts. wt. modified graphene oxide, 3-8 pts. wt. silicon dioxide, 3-5 pts. wt. calcium carbonate fiber, 5-7 pts. wt. glass fiber and 1-3 pts. wt. flame retardant into a reaction kettle, adding 10 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring uniformly, hydrothermally reacting, cooling to 100-105 degrees C, pouring the reactant into twin-screw extruder, extruding, compression molding, and curing to obtain the product.
