NOVELTY - The graphite cathode slurry comprises 5-25 wt.% of graphite cathode material, 72-94 wt.% of an electrolyte, 0.5-1.5 wt.% of a conductive agent and 0.5-3 wt.% of a surfactant. USE - Graphite cathode slurry for lithium-ion liquid flow battery. ADVANTAGE - The preparation process of the cathode slurry is optimized, the dispersion uniformity of electrode particles can be improved, the surface state of the particles is improved, and the positive effect on improving the suspension stability of the slurry is achieved. By adding the surfactant to connect the cathode and electrolyte, the dispersion effect of the slurry is enhanced, the wettability of the electrolyte to active substances is increased, and the suspension fluidity of the slurry is improved. By optimizing the raw materials and selecting the graphite with modified surface, carboxyl and unsaturated bonds in the coating layer on the surface of the graphite can participate in solid electrolyte interphase generation, so that the problem of large initial irreversible capacity of the slurry is solved, and the cycle performance is improved. By regulating and controlling the preparation process of the slurry and introducing the surface additive, the problem of mutual restriction between the conductivity and the viscosity of the suspension is solved, and the stability and the fluidity of the slurry suspension are enhanced.
