NOVELTY - Pitch-based three-dimensional mesoporous graphene material preparation involves mixing asphalt, additives and dispersant in solvent in a ball mill to give a mixed raw material. The mixed raw material is carbonized in an atmospheric furnace at 1100-2000 degrees C for 0.1-10 hours. The carbonized product is pickled with stirring sufficiently, washed with deionized water until neutral, and then placed in a vacuum oven at 40-100 degrees C for drying for 1-12 hours to give the three-dimensional mesoporous graphene material. USE - Method for preparing pitch-based three-dimensional mesoporous graphene material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares pitch-based three-dimensional mesoporous graphene material in a simple and cost-effective manner with high purity more than (98-100%), large specific surface area (500-2500 m2/g), uniform size, less structural defects, and low-rise (1-5 layers). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Pitch-based three-dimensional mesoporous graphene material preparation involves mixing asphalt, additives and dispersant in solvent in a ball mill to give a mixed raw material. The mixed raw material is carbonized in an atmospheric furnace at 1100-2000 degrees C for 0.1-10 hours. The carbonized product is pickled with stirring sufficiently, washed with deionized water until neutral, and then placed in a vacuum oven at 40-100 degrees C for drying for 1-12 hours to give the three-dimensional mesoporous graphene material. The pickling process is carried out by using hydrochloric acid, oxalic acid and sulfuric acid with stirring for 1-5 hours.
