NOVELTY - Preparing graphite phase carbon nitride/graphene photocatalyst comprises (i) preparing graphite phase carbon nitride; (ii) preparing the graphite oxide by an oxidation method; (iii) mixing the graphite phase carbon nitride and graphite oxide, ultrasonically dispersing with water, adding hydrazine hydrate, stirring in a water bath, cooling to room temperature, and centrifuging to obtain precipitate, drying and heating the precipitate. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphite phase carbon nitride/graphene photocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method has low raw material price, simple, economical, and excellent photo-catalytic degradation performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) use of a graphite phase carbonitride/graphene photocatalyst prepared by the above method for photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue; and (2) preparing of graphite phase carbon nitride/graphene photocatalyst comprises mixing with a methylene blue solution, performing a photocatalytic reaction and completing the treatment of methylene blue.
