▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A gas sensing material comprises a polypyrrole derivative (I), and a carbon material. USE - Material is used for sensor for sensing gas including toxic gas and volatile organic compound, e.g. nitrogen-based compound, alcohol, ketone, aldehyde or thiol compound, preferably acetone, ammonia, formaldehyde or methyl mercaptan (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to production environment, living environment (indoor environment), medical and health environments, pollution control application, drug application, or storage environment of home appliance (refrigerator/air purifier). ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent flexibility, and can be manufactured by simple and economical method, and enables detection of gas at a temperature of 50 degrees C to 100 degrees C, a relative humidity of 10-100% and a pressure of 1 atm, with high sensitivity and selectivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A gas sensing material comprises a polypyrrole derivative of formula (I), and a carbon material. A' = 1-10C alkyl or phenyl; B' = H, halo, or group derived from halogen compound; S' = sulfur atom, nitrogen atom, oxygen atom, or group derived from polar compound containing these atoms;and n = 100-100000. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) gas sensor, which comprises an anode, a cathode, and the gas sensing material; and (2) manufacture of the gas sensing material, which involves (i) preparing a conjugated polymer monomer, carbon material, a transition metal salt catalyst, an emulsifier and/or a dispersing agent, and a functional organic material, (ii) mixing the carbon material, transition metal salt catalyst and emulsifier and/or dispersing agent, (iii) adding conjugated polymer monomer and functional organic material to the obtained dispersion, and performing emulsion polymerization, and (iv) purifying and separating the polymerization product.
