NOVELTY - The electrical circuit structure comprises layers of graphene formed one another, first and second electrical contacts each electrically connected with a single graphene layer of the layers of graphene that form a bi-layer graphene structure, an electrically insulating layer (112) formed on first and second sides of the graphene layers, and an electrically insulting material formed between each of the first and second sides of the graphene layers and an adjacent to one of the electrical contacts. The single graphene layer is present at the top and bottom of the graphene layers. USE - Used as an electrical circuit structure. ADVANTAGE - The electrical circuit structure is smaller in size, maintains the planarity and crystalline integrity thus ensuring the high charge carrier mobility properties of the graphene layer, and prevents interdiffusion at the boundary between the active graphene layer and series of graphene layers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The electrical circuit structure comprises layers of graphene formed one another, first and second electrical contacts each electrically connected with a single graphene layer of the layers of graphene that form a bi-layer graphene structure, an electrically insulating layer (112) formed on first and second sides of the graphene layers, and an electrically insulting material formed between each of the first and second sides of the graphene layers and an adjacent to one of the electrical contacts. The single graphene layer is present at the top and bottom of the graphene layers, and is sandwiched between adjacent graphene layers. The graphene layer is formed on a silicon substrate (114). The graphene layers have first and second edges that define first and second sides. The single layer of graphene extends beyond the first and second sides. The single graphene layer makes contact with the first and second electrical contacts in a region beyond the first and second sides. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for manufacturing an electrical circuit structure.
