NOVELTY - The graphene-quartz fiber composite material is obtained by coating the graphene on quartz fiber surface, connecting quartz fiber surface and graphene sheet by Van der Waals force and hydrogen bonding, carrying out cross-linking between the quartz fibers to form twistless yarn, nonwoven fabric or chopped strand mat. USE - Graphene-quartz fiber composite material. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-quartz fiber composite material has high strength, excellent mechanical properties, and electrical and thermal conductivity by enhancing interaction between the quartz fibers and reducing the contact resistance between the fibers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing graphene-quartz fiber composite material, which involves (1) immersing the quartz fiber in toluene, heating at 300 degrees C for 10 minutes, drying, (2) coating the surface of the quartz fiber with graphene oxide dispersion, and coating the silica fiber surface with graphene oxide, drying, (3) swelling the graphene oxide-coated quartz fiber by placing in solvent, combining the fibers, drying to form non-twisted yarn, (or) bonding the fibers to each other to form non-woven fabric or chopped strand mat, drying at temperature lower than 100 degrees C, and (4) reducing to obtain graphene-quartz fiber composite material.
