NOVELTY - Preparation of nano molybdenum carbide material involves (s1) mixing molybdenum trioxide powder with inorganic salt to obtain molybdenum source precursor, (s2) separately placing molybdenum source precursor and a solid-phase carbon source in a reaction device, and molybdenum source precursor is placed in a low-temperature region, and solid-phase carbon source is placed in a high-temperature region, and (s3) introducing carrier gas, heating to high-temperature region at 800-1100℃, heat-preserving, cooling, and taking out a product at high-temperature region. USE - Preparation of nano molybdenum carbide material used in electrocatalytic technology (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare nano molybdenum carbide material which has excellent electrocatalysis hydrogen evolution performance, and is simple, mild reaction condition, simple and easy to obtain, and has controllable adjustment of the shape of the base material macroscopic topography, short reaction time, and high purity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for nano molybdenum carbide material, which is formed by stacking converted molybdenum carbide nanocrystals.
