NOVELTY - Composite coating material comprises 12-50 wt.% nickel-chrome, 15-28 wt.% chromium carbide, 6-10 wt.% ferrosilicon, 5-8 wt.% ferrovanadium, 20-40 wt.% aluminum and 1-2 wt.% graphene. USE - Composite coating material used for semi-metal iron-based brake sheet. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite coating material comprising weighing nickel-chromium alloy powder, chromium carbide powder, ferrovanadium, ferrosilicon, aluminum powder and graphene as raw materials, oscillating uniformly, mixing, and high temperature melting to obtain molten metal liquid; gas mixing and atomizing molten metal liquid by water-gas mixing atomization process for preparing spherical powder with diameter controlled at 50-100 mu m, cooling and solidifying to obtain spherical metal powder; mixing spherical metal powder and organic binder into paste, coating on semi-metal brake sheet surface, and drying; and laser cladding to form high temperature wear-resistant composite coating on metal surface.
