NOVELTY - A titanium-aluminum alloy material comprises a base material, a toughening phase, and a reinforcing phase. The base material comprises 70-72.5 parts mass, preferably 72 parts mass titanium, 25 parts mass aluminum, and 1 part mass molybdenum. The toughening phase comprises 0.8-1.5 parts mass, preferably 1 part mass hafnium carbide, 0.5 part mass tantalum, and 0.2-2 parts mass, preferably 0.5 part mass vanadium nitride. The reinforcing phase comprises 0-1.5 parts mass, preferably 0.25-0.9 part mass graphene. USE - Titanium-aluminum alloy material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The titanium-aluminum alloy material has excellent strength and toughness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of titanium-aluminum alloy material.
