NOVELTY - A flame retardant cable sheath material comprises 20-33 pts. wt. raw rubber, 10-18 pts. wt. graphene, 3-6 pts. wt. magnesium hydroxide, 24-38 pts. wt. carbon tetrafluoride, 0.5-5 pts. wt. aluminum nitride, 8-12 pts. wt. zinc borate, 12-21 pts. wt. fly ash, 8-18 pts. wt. mica stone, 4-12 pts. wt. starch, 7-15 pts. wt. plant fiber, 1-2 pts. wt. antioxidant, 0.4-1 pt. wt. crosslinking agent, 0.8-2.5 pts. wt. coupling agent and 2-11 pts. wt. Panax notoginseng. USE - Flame retardant cable sheath material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cable sheath material has excellent processing performance, mechanical performance, rigidity, high flexibility, tear resistance, high temperature and low temperature aging property, flame retardance, and chemical corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of flame retardant cable sheath material, which involves (1) adding mica stone into a calcining furnace, calcining at 520-570 degrees C for 2-4 hours, cooling, crushing into 50-100 mesh powder, soaking in 12-15 %mass hydrochloric acid solution for 2-3 hours, filtering mica stone powder, washing by distilled water, drying, and crushing into 200-300 mesh powder to obtain modified mica powder, (2) adding raw rubber, aluminum nitride, zinc borate, magnesium hydroxide and carbon tetrafluoride into a Banbury mixer, mixing at 110-140 degrees C and at speed of 15-30 rpm at less than or equal to -0.09 MPa under stirring for 15-30 minutes to obtain mixed material (I), (3) graphene, fly ash, modified mica powder, starch, plant fiber and Panax notoginseng into the mixer, and mixing at 80-120 degrees C and at speed of 20-45 rpm at less than or equal to -0.09 MPa under stirring for 5-15 minutes to obtain mixed material (II), (4) adding mixed material (I) and mixed material (II)into high speed kneader, mixing, adding antioxidant, crosslinking agent and coupling agent into high speed kneader, kneading at 150-180 degrees C for 6-15 minutes, cooling the kneaded material, adding into a twin-0screw extruder, and extruding.
