NOVELTY - Passivation of graphene in graphene-based device is performed by depositing graphene layer on dielectric support and pre-heating graphene-based device under vacuum conditions, in which graphene surface is covered with silicone layer. USE - Passivation of graphene in graphene-based device. ADVANTAGE - The method stabilizes graphene's electrical properties in electronic devices, such as charge carrier concentration, charge carrier mobility, and resultant sheet resistance, therefore allowing the use of the devices in a reliable manner in ambient conditions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene-based device containing greater than or equal to 1 graphene surface passivated by silicone layer.
